Team South Side
We are based out of North Adams Massachusetts and have been a Polaris Factory Support Race Team since 1997. We are also the Official Polaris Support trailer in the winter months on the East Coast SnoCross Series. During the Summer month we race on the NEATV-MX Series here in the Northeast, and at select AMA Nationals on our Polaris Outlaw MXR 450s.
A couple of quick highlights: Our rider, Robert Graeber qualified for the 2008 Winter X Games in Apsen Colorado and he was the youngest rider in the field that year.
We have had riders from around the world come and ride for us including Sweden, Norway, Japan, South Africa, Germany, Bulgaria, Canada, Argentina, and England.
In the 04-05 Sno-X season, which was the first season on Polaris' new IQ Race chassis, we won 9 championships on the Rock Maple Series, out of 10 classes entered.
Brett Bender raced quads for us in the 2008 season. In March of 2009 Bruce Sr accompanied Brett to Mala Sweden for the world championships as his mechanic. After getting the sled put together the night before the race, Brett while leading the qualifer would seize the brakes to the rotor sending him the to lcq where he would qualify for the main. Lined up all the way to the outside of the 20 rider front row Brett would pull the holeshot and lead half the race before being passed. He would finish 3rd.
